Lawrence L. Ellison
As the proud owner of Little Seeds Learning Center, my passion for early childhood education began in 1984 when I became a first-time father. This transformative experience showed me the profound impact I could have on a child's life every single day. In 1990, I was hired as a recreational leader for the city of Alexandria, where I had the opportunity to work with children of all ages. My many duties included program planning, chaperoning, coaching, and mentoring.
Seeking to make a greater impact on people's lives, I joined the Fairfax County Fire Department and advanced through the ranks to pursue that dream of impacting people of all ages. However, I maintained a close connection to the bright young minds of children. To continue serving the community, I purchased ice cream trucks to participate in toy drives, coat drives, and other local events. With over 33 years of experience working with children - including 20+ years in the Fire Department and 13 years in the City of Alexandria Recreation Department - I have always been passionate about connecting with young people. As a parent myself, I've always understood the importance of finding a dependable, trustworthy preschool for my own children.

At Little Seeds Learning Center, each child learns a tremendous amount. They will identify letters and words, colors, make letter-sound connections, use writing tools, and build relationships - all while becoming well-prepared for kindergarten. The teachers and staff celebrate these milestones with high-fives and high-tens. The focus at Little Seeds Learning Center is on high-quality early childhood education. The learning center provides the tools and resources children need to make crucial connections in language, gross motor skills, phonics, and social-emotional development at an early age. This nurturing environment sets the stage for our students to become successful, capable learners who are ready to take on any challenge.
